I've tried several of them including the fiber and have never used it more than once. I know others have recommended it, but I'm not a big fan of American Crew products. You don't want to spray your hair, you want to create a area of mist that your hair happens to be at. It'll only add shine and it'll look terribly. While it's tempting to use a ton of hair spray in close proximity to hold your hair in place. Rub yours fingers along your hair and then run your hands along your hair like your flicking water off your hand to give it texture and lift. If you want that airy look, rub it along your palms and then rub it into your roots. If you're hair is super oily, I'd recommend clay. ![]() Use it the same way I described at Gatsby above. If your hair is super stubborn, Spice sisters freeze wax is also pretty nice stuff and a bit stronger. After blow drying your hair, use just a tad bit more Gatsby to hold it in place and finish with just a light coat of hair spray. Applying hair product in your hair before you blow dry will help you stabilize your hair style as well as giving it a bit more matte & natural finish. Towel dry your hair, apply this to your hair, style it conceptually, and then blow dry your hair in the directions it will be styled. I recommend using it with your hair while it's damp. There almost no shine to it and very matte. Gatsby Grunge Mat (gray color) if you're hair is naturally a bit more oily. Now with that said, there are a couple products you can use for that look. Too much of any product will also result in a shine. Using too much of any hair product changes the way your hair will look and the way the product intended it to look. With any hair product, be careful of how much you use. I can do crazy shit to my hair and have tried a shit ton of hair products.
